Position
As CFO at LeydenJar, you play a crucial role in achieving their growth objectives and ensuring financial stability. You will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic vision for finance, working closely with the CEO and other stakeholders. You bring a comprehensive finance expertise, encompassing both the forward-looking and backward-looking aspects of finance, ensuring a balanced perspective. Besides finance, you are responsible for legal & tax, program management and HR ops & support.
Profile
LeydenJar is looking for an experienced, ambitious financial professional with a proven track record in leading scale-up companies. The ideal profile includes:
· Completed university education in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, preferably with a RA/ RC education.
· Minimum of 10 years work experience and proven experience as CFO in a fast paced environment.
· Has a good vision on the long term goals and knows how to get there, knows what needs to be done in the present to reach these goals. Able to constantly balance between the long and the short term objectives.
· Extensive experience in financial management, preferably with previous involvement in the funding process.
· Strong forward-looking skills, understanding business and financials at high level and the ability to act quickly in a dynamic environment.
· Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate people, with trust to delegate to the team and foster a positive company culture.
· Capable of building up a finance department and prepared to anticipate in a fast-paced growing environment.
· Experience in project management and setting up financial systems to IPO readiness level.
· A pragmatic and hands-on mentality, with a focus on delivering results in a rapidly changing environment. Takes ownership, responsibility and has excellent communication skills.
