Vroom follows its own code of conduct.

This is more than a description of our approach; the code of conduct provides clarity to clients and candidates in advance. That way, you know what to expect. Integrity is one of our core values. We will make every effort to inform both the candidate and our client as carefully and completely as possible. Vroom exclusively accepts assignments it believes it can successfully fulfill.

Vroom exclusively works on behalf of companies and institutions, never on behalf of candidates. Therefore, Vroom solely accepts a fee from clients, never from candidates. Every assignment is treated confidentially. Without consent, Vroom does not disclose information about clients or candidates to third parties. Vroom does not approach employees within a department of our clients until at least one year after the last assignment within that department has been terminated. If employees of a client respond in writing to an advertising campaign provided by Vroom or on the website at their own initiative, Vroom is free to include these candidates in the relevant recruitment and selection process.

Disclosure of your data

We share your data within the various expertise areas of Vroom as needed to find the right job for you. Your CV and related information will only be sent to potential employers with your consent. 

When we are obliged to do so, we may also make your data available to regulatory or law enforcement authorities. 

Curriculum Vitae (“CV”)

We offer you the opportunity to submit your CV through this website. You can do this by responding to a specific advertised vacancy or for consultation by our consultants when vacancies arise. Your digital CV is stored in a protected environment, which is only accessible to consultants of Vroom. Your CV is sent directly via email to our consultants, who verify your information and enter it into our database. This database, where all your data is stored, is only accessible to our consultants. You can update your CV whenever you wish by simply repeating the procedure for submitting a new CV. Your previous CV will then be automatically replaced. 

Access to your data 

You are at all times entitled to request a copy of the data we hold about you. To request your data, you can contact Vroom’s Privacy Officer, Anne Genders. Furthermore, you have the right to instruct Vroom not to use your data any longer.

Information transfer via the internet

Because the internet is a global network, when collecting and processing personal data via the internet, information is transferred in an international context. By using this website and communicating with us electronically, you acknowledge and agree to the fact that we process data in this manner. 

Changes to our Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be amended by Vroom at any time. In the event of future changes to our privacy policy, we will specify the changes here so that you always know what personal data we collect, how it is used, and to whom it is disclosed.
