We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Communication Manager for DIANA FEA (Delft), a fast growing, international b to b software company.  

DIANA FEA BV was established in 2003 as a spin-off company from the Computational Mechanics department of TNO Building and Construction Research Institute in Delft, The Netherlands. Building on over 30 years of research and experience, the company provides world class software products and services in the field of finite element solutions dedicated to civil, geotechnical, earthquake, and petroleum engineering.  

DIANA, their flagship software, is world renowned as the finest in its class as the “all in one” solution for Finite Element Analysis within the civil engineering community. The team of 30 highly skilled and experienced civil and geotechnical engineers, scientists, software developers and architects work to develop and deliver innovative software and value-added services including technical support, training, analysis consultancy and R&D projects to clients all over the world (98 countries!).  

The mission is to continue to develop and distribute innovative software to satisfy the fast growing and challenging need for reliable, realistic and user-friendly Finite Element Analysis and design software and to provide added-value services to our clients to enable them to get the most out of their software.  

The company wants to expand its position on the top-segment of the international market and aiming to facilitate the migration process of the middle segment engineers to grow and develop their skills. 

The Commercial Director and two sales-managers are based in the main office in Delft, the Netherlands, and do the direct sales and we have distributors in Japan, South Korea and China. The in-house sales managers are experienced and have various backgrounds. The company is active in marketing by organizing successful webinars and events.

Position

DIANA FEA is looking for a Digital Marketing & Communication Manager, who will  

  • develop and implement a long-term company Digital Marketing & Communication strategy, with an emphasis on achieving international (world-wide, 98 countries) DIANA software sales growth; 
  • build, manage and develop the Digital Marketing & Communication department: Branding, Events, Social and Documents;  
  • take ownership of DIANA FEA brand identity, awareness and recognition; 
  • ensure message (e.g. value propositions) and branding compliance and consistency;  
  • lead DIANA FEA digital presence  
  • create (marketing- and sales) content, blogs, social media posts and content for web presence;  
  • develop and maintain end-user communities, sharing DIANA FEA customer success stories and case studies; 
  • develop and implement a winning lead generation strategy, generating market penetration, realizing cost-effective customer acquisition and customer retention;  
  • develop and deliver end-to-end campaigns and partner activities: create intimate and lasting relationships with the audience, (potential) customers (direct) as well as partners (indirect / distributers);  
  • organize virtual and physical events (sponsorships, special programs, promotions, etc) and manage the execution of events on-site;  
  • research and assess best practices and comparative reviews of competitor, pricing, industry, markets and leading events and programs. 

Background

  • Bachelor’s degree, in specific field of marketing especially – digital development or lead generation;  
  • Appr 8 – 12 years Digital Marketing and Communication experience (as a manager or senior expert) within an international, b to b, tech (preferably software, preferably scale up / fast growing business) environment; 
  • Data driven digital first mindset;  
  • An understanding of the (direct / partner-) sales channels and managing communication and planning with partners;  
  • Solid understanding of data analytics and the ability to deliver meaningful insights;  
  • Strategic thinking and vision, ability to be tactical and creative as well as being pro-active result oriented; • Enthusiasm, energy and drive! Keen to learn and work with new tech; 
  • English fluency- high level spoken, written and heard;  
  • International and multi-cultured mindset and attitude to work with staff and customers from different nationalities and background;  
  • Strong teamplayer: ability to build, develop and manage a team of digital marcom professionals.
