Position

NIBC is looking for an energetic and eager Head of Compensation & Benefits. In this high-impact role you will combine your compensation & benefits expertise with strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. You will be driving key compensation & benefits related initiatives and projects. As Head of Compensation & Benefits you will be responsible for the design, monitoring and implementation of all terms of employment at NIBC. This is a strategic position that requires a data-driven, pragmatic and proactive approach: smooth switching between strategic thinking and practical implementation.

You will manage the HR Service Desk team, headed by the HR Service Desk Lead (6 fte).You will be part of the HR Management Team and report directly to the Head of HR. The MT consists of the Head of HR Business Partners, Head of Learning & Development, Head of Corporate Communications and Head of HR. They form a close and professional team in which cooperation, personal growth and getting results are fostered. HR is well positioned in NIBC and is ambitious in helping the bank to remain future-proof.

Background

As Head of Compensation & Benefits you are a professional with a strong track record of partnering and engaging with senior leadership teams and other professionals. You are a team player who naturally operates on both a strategic and operational level and you are at your best in a dynamic environment. You are eager, a critical and analytical thinker with a result-driven and can do mentality.

Moreover, you have the following qualifications:

  • > 10 years of experience in HR / Compensation & Benefits positions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Dutch and Europe C&B practices.
  • Extensive experience in working in a financial services environment.
  • Professional: expert in C&B, in depth knowledge, strategic thinker with project management skills: easily translates ideas into practical implementation.
  • Adaptable: a positive mindset, can do approach, resilience and adaptability.
  • Collaborative: gets energized achieving results with the team, excellent stakeholder management.
  • Entrepreneurial: high commitment, pragmatism, decisiveness, not afraid getting involved and take up work yourself to getting things done.
