As a critical member of the HR Team the role purpose is to lead the People strategy for the Benelux region. There are 3 business lines in the Benelux region, namely Commodities, Industrial Facilities and Marine Offshore.
Commercial, organisational, and functional knowledge are all essential. The role scope includes strategic influence as part of wider European Operating Group plans as well as opportunities to engage and lead on key projects across Engagement, Training & Development, Diversity and Wellbeing topics. Priorities include ensuring to retain, attract, and engage the best people, reducing attrition and developing an inclusive and diverse culture that is focused on development and wellbeing. All whilst supporting business growth.
As Head of HR, you will lead the teams across Benelux providing HR Service for all represented businesses of Bureau Veritas in the region. You need to enhance the collaboration between the teams that are located in different places in The Netherlands and Belgium in order to achieve more efficiency and better service to the clients. You will also act as functional manager for the Business Partner for Commodities Business in the UK.
In this role you will work closely with the Regional CEO Commodities NW Europe and Industry & Facilities Benelux, Marijke Paalvast and report to the VP HR South & West Europe, Katie White located in the UK.
In this role you are able to drive consistency in the use of people processes and using data to drive decision-making, and developing leadership and talent for today and tomorrow. The role is based in Pernis (NL). Regular visits to the other offices in both The Netherlands and Belgium are part of this role.
