Position
Currently we are looking for SNV to hire an inspiring, modern and experienced Global Head of People.
The Global Head of People will develop, lead and implement the people strategy for SNV in furtherance of the organisation’s strategy through to 2030. The Global Head of People acts as a partner to the Managing Board and other relevant senior management on HR related topics and will report directly to the CEO.
In this position, you can make a real difference in supporting the growth and future readiness of SNV by shaping and overseeing the HR Strategy. This includes change projects, team effectiveness, talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, employee engagement and diversity, equity & inclusion. As the new Global Head of People you will have the chance to further professionalize and develop the organisation together with your HR team (10 professionals working in different roles).
Next to your Global team based in The Hague, you lead and develop the global HR community, located in the countries where SNV operates.
Background
The Global Head of People is a strategic, empathetic leader who has thorough knowledge of the latest developments within the field of HR. An analytical and robust partner in discussion, with outstanding communication and social skills and the ability to connect with people at all levels of the organisation and with all nationalities. A strong and insightful leader who can drive processes in a decentralized, matrix environment.
Qualifications (among others):
- Master’s degree in relevant field and a proven track record in international HR management;
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in organisational development, leadership development, talent management, learning and development, performance management, reward and safety. Affinity with HR analytics;
- Thorough understanding of the not-for-profit and/or commercial consultancy sector;
- Relationship builder and long term commitment;
- Strong in (intercultural) stakeholder management;
- Excellent English communication skills, with French being an additional asset.
