For an international entrepreneurial bank, acting as a niche player within the structured finance world, we are seeking a Relationship Manager Financial Institutions.

In this position you will be the first point of contact for financial institutions doing business with the bank. Working closely with the Head of Financial Institutions, you will be focusing on business origination, structuring deals and building & maintaining a close relationship with counterparts. Besides, you will be visiting banks in order to understand their funding needs and capabilities and also play a role in facilitating the transactions. By setting up a new business plan, you will be targeting emerging & developing countries and provide solutions to specific needs. 

Furthermore, accountabilities are:

  • Manage and negotiate limit needs and special pricing requirements;
  • Provide support in problem solving related to transactions with relationship banks;
  • Make necessary entries to the core banking system;
  • Organize and attend meetings and coordinate with subsidiaries of the bank when needed;
  • Work closely with the corporate marketing division for the defined geography to provide solutions for the needs of corporate customers;
  • Close coordination with Compliance Division for compliance related matters.


We are looking for an outgoing person with a “yes we can” attitude and an eye for detail. You want to play a crucial role in the further growth of the organization and are intrinsically motivated to achieve results, independently as well as with the team.

You have:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Financial Institutions business experience;
  • Relevant Master’s degree;
  • Familiarity with foreign trade products and inter-bank lending products;
  • Outstanding communication skills and networking abilities;
  • Knowledge of trade finance;
  • Proactive mindset and outreaching professional;
  • Team player, solution driven as well as a practical and flexible mindset;
  • Fluency in English, Dutch is a pre.
