Our client is a leading bank and institutional investor with activities all over the globe and is mainly engaged in asset management and large scale corporate financing. Through overseas branches located in New York City, London and Singapore, the bank invests in for example bonds, securitization products, stocks, private equity and real estate. From their office in Amsterdam (banking license obtained in 2020) the European presence is secured. To further strengthen their team in Amsterdam we are looking for an Deputy Head Risk Management
To further strengthen the Risk Management team we are looking for a Deputy Head Risk Management who has in depth risk management experiences in wholesale banking and strong quantitative skills. Next to this you are a great team player who is energized by building a sustainable bank together. As a risk professional you will have an essential contribution to the risk management framework, including risk monitoring of the bank as well as the maintaining and enhancing risk monitoring framework with emphasis to market and liquidity risk.
Next to above the Deputy Head will be responsible the following:
- Bank’s capital as well as liquidity analyses and contribute to the periodical ICAAP and ILAAP exercises;
- Review and support prudential regulatory reporting;
- Monitoring adherence of bank’s risk position to risk appetite as well as various risk limits, including market, credit, liquidity and capital risk.
As Deputy Head Risk Management you are familiar with all risk challenges within a wholesale banking environment. Next to this you should possess strong quantitative skills combined with a good basis of IT to discuss specifications of the risk management IT systems.
