For our client, a captive alternative investment arm of a large Dutch Bank for investing in private equity and venture capital opportunities in The Netherlands and worldwide, we are looking for an Executive Director Private Equity FoF. The budget income is EUR 110m per year growing to EUR 200m in next 5 years. AUM is currently EUR 1bln growing to EUR 2.2bln in next 5 years

  • Develop/maintain network and utilise this to generate leads in relevant fund investment opportunities with likeminded investors of high quality and ideally well known to the bank’s organisation
  • Manage smooth investment processes leading to final investment proposals for the bank’s Investment Committee
  • Steering deal teams and relevant internal and external stakeholders relevant for input in getting final approval
  • Monitoring and managing  portfolio and underlying exposures and with supporting analyst and/or associate, ensure regular analysis is performed, fact base is built including other relevant input for internal bi-annual portfolio reviews; fulfil relevant committee roles (investment advisory committees)     
  • Maintaining close contact with sponsor teams, co-investors and relevant stakeholders  and if appropriate management of portfolio companies and ensuring latter parties are regularly introduced to the Rabobank network and F&A knowledge base   
  • Contribute to the growth agenda in line with budget KPIs for Fund Investments (tbd)
  • Engage with other stakeholders in order to ensure excellent customer focus and delivery of high quality service to our clients       
  • Contributing to a high performance culture and environment through own action and by ongoing pro-active personal development     


Education / Work experience

  • Master’s Degree
  • 15+ years proven industry experience in Private Equity
  • Extensive experience with leading deal teams
  • Experience in leading and setting up new and complex business initiatives from legal set-up to closing including managing internal and external stakeholder processes
