Position
This job requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a proven network of clients and a proven track record of trade finance origination. Equally important are a strong teamwork attitude and a deep understanding of key risk parameters and how to build and drive profitable client relationships. In this job, you will be working with both AEX as well as regional and global leaders in their niches, including large family owned business.
Your responsibilities:

Develop and drive new businesses and sales opportunities within trade finance such as: export finance, documentary trade, guarantees, cash & liquidity etc. with a special interest in supply chain financing

Manage trustworthy relationships with coverage bankers, internal stakeholders and existing- and potential clients to facilitate deal execution.

Identify and analyze clients and drive continuous improvement within the trade finance.

Being strongly aligned with all other products of the bank in order to service clients at its best.

Have a thorough understanding of wholesale trade finance processes and you are execution oriented.

You are a strong strategic business partner who thinks in solutions for your clients. Results count and to achieve this you collaborate with people in- and outside the organization. To be successful in this job, you have already gained the following:

A broad experience within trade finance with proven track record either in ECA financing and/or Working Capital Financing.

A strategic perspective and business curiosity, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to think outside the box.

Proven experience in helping clients achieve their strategic ambitions and at the same time build strong client relationships.

You are a self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and remotely.

A master degree and 8 – 10 years of relevant banking experience in a similar international environment.

Fluency in Dutch and English. French and/or Spanish would be a plus.
