RNHB - Senior Financial Controller - Utrecht

Position
Are you interested in a key role in the finance strategy and process in order to support the growth ambitions of RNHB? Do you want to become part of this successful team?
As a Senior Financial Controller you will play an important role in addressing the finance and control challenges that comes with a rapidly growing business and a company that also has a high ambition to launch new lending products facilitated by the appropriate funding structures. Involvement will also be in translating the finance structure of diverse entities into a transparent financial reporting process. You will actively participate in the monthly and annual closing and lead the financial control team (total of 3fte) in their day to day operations. You are responsible for a correct and complete financial administration and (consolidated) reporting for all entities (15+) in the structure.
The finance department is organized in three teams, business control, financial control and business intelligence. The total team consists of 15 finance professionals.
To be successful, you will collaborate with the Commercial teams, Finance, Treasury Funding, Risk Management, Legal and Business Intelligence team. In addition, you will be liaising with parties like external banks, hedging providers and trust offices. You will directly report to the Director Finance.

To be successful in this position you are someone who is an experienced senior in the finance domain. You have strong analytical skills and work accurately. Being part of a small, agile team and working together is very important. This also means that you are capable of shifting between more analytical, high level activities and day to day execution of tasks. You have a flexible mindset, based on a solid finance background and a well-developed ethical awareness, you're able to look at possibilities within the finance context. Since you work a lot with people inside and outside the organization, it is very important that you have excellent contact and communication skills.
- You have an Academic degree in Business Economics, Accountancy or related, a RA degree is a nice to have;
- You have 6+ years of work experience in a similar or related position;
- Preferably you have gained experience in the financial sector or within the Big4, preferably with a sector focus on real estate or financial services;
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.
