Position
The MD Compliance is member of the management team Risk and Finance and a direct report to the Chief Finance and Risk Officer - statutory member of the global board of APG AM.
He/she will be having a leading role in sharing knowledge and understanding of compliance throughout the organization on a strategic and tactical level by means of stakeholder management, team management and targeted programs.
You connect, offer countervailing power without losing sight of the relationship and you have an excellent sense of situational communication.
The MD Compliance AM is responsible for the validity of information towards regulators and will act as an objective and independent discussion partner towards the regulator and as an advisor towards the Supervisory Board. You feel the ownership of this and you also know how to guard your boundaries at the same time. To this end, you know how to assess the force field at an administrative level, how to operate with the necessary sensitivity towards stakeholders and you know your role.

Being successful in a (financial)technical orientated environment with high educated people requires in debt knowledge of Compliance. Without being a specialist yourself, you are able to provide convincing arguments and are capable to provide countervailing at all levels of the organization.
