General Conditions, Data Protection and Privacy Policy

Vroom & Van den Heuvel uses its own code of conduct and is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of its (online) services.

Vroom & Van den Heuvel uses its own code of conduct. This is more than a description of our working methods. The Code of conduct provides clarity in advance to clients and candidates. So you know where you stand .

The most important parts of our code of conduct:

  • Integrity is one of our core values . We will do everything we can to inform our candidates and our clients as carefully and fully as possible;
  • Vroom & Van den Heuvel only accepts assignments that are expected to be accomplished successfully;
  • Vroom & Van den Heuvel works exclusively and only on behalf of companies and institutions. We don’t work on behalf of candidates. Therefore Vroom & Van den Heuvel only accepts a fee of clients, not candidates;
  • Each assignment and procedure will be treated confidentially. Without permission by Vroom & Van den Heuvel no information about our clients or candidates will be provided to third parties;
  • Vroom & Van den Heuvel will not approach employees within a division or department of our clients for at least one year after the last assignment within that section has ended;
  • When employees of our client - on its own initiative - respond in writing to the website or ad campaign Vroom & van den Heuvel, then Vroom & Van den Heuvel is free to include this specific candidate in the recruitment and selection procedure.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy

Vroom & Van den Heuvel is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of its online services. We want our visitors to be able to safely and securely use our website. We ensure that the data you provide via our website is handled confidentially and is solely used for the purposes described in this privacy policy.

Data collection and use
 Your personal data including your name, email address and CV are stored and used for the following purposes:
1.In order to find vacancies that match your profile so we can offer you a position that is right for you;
2.In order to keep you informed of Vroom & Van den Heuvel's services and news and developments within your sector;
3.In order to offer you a customised website after you have logged in so you always see information that is relevant to you.

Disclosure of your data
If necessary, we share your data within the various departments of Vroom & Van den Heuvel Group for the purpose of finding the right job for you.
Your CV and related data are only sent to potential employers once you have given your permission.
If obliged to do so, we may also make your data available to regulatory or enforcement authorities.

Curriculum vitae (“CV”)
We give you the option to submit your CV via our website. You can do this by responding to a specific advertised vacancy or by submitting your CV to our consultants for them to refer to when vacancies arise.  Your digital CV is stored in a protected environment, which is only accessible to Vroom & Van den Heuvel's consultants.
Your CV is sent directly to our consultants by email who check your data and input it into our database. This database, in which all your data is stored, is only accessible to our consultants.
You can update your CV whenever you wish simply by repeating the procedure for sending a new CV. Your previous CV is then automatically replaced.

Access to your data
You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you. To request a copy of your data, contact Vroom & Van den Heuvel's Privacy Officer, Ms. Karen Steeman-van Rosse. Furthermore, you have the right to demand that Vroom & Van den Heuvel stops using your data.

Information transfer via internet
Since the internet is a worldwide network, when we collect and process personal data via the internet, information is transferred in an international context. By using this website and communicating with us electronically, you acknowledge that we are processing your personal data in this manner and signify your agreement.

Changes to our Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may be changed at any time by Vroom & Van den Heuvel. If we make changes to our privacy policy in the future, we will revise this page to reflect these changes so you are always aware of what personal data we are collecting, how it is used and to whom it is disclosed.
